Life enjoyed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There once was a time when this phrase would make me laugh. Not because of the saying, rather because one of the neighboring cities to me spent upward of $25,000 to re-brand their image and such. And the company came up with Life Enjoyed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It never stuck. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead of taking what it had always been known as (the City of the Hills) and just giving it an updated look and feel, the then-Mayor (who was a fantastic person) and the city government went all in. <\/p>\n\n\n

The whole thing never caught on. So, in the end, they had a new and updated look and the “Life Enjoyed” eventually faded off into the sunset. And City of the Hills never left. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But they did have an updated and whimsical look to things, which is really what they needed anyway. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For me, though, as time wore on — I like the phrase and the saying. Just not for a city to brand under. We, as people, however, should embrace something like “life enjoyed” because it’s what we have to do to stay as close to being sane as possible!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Good pals<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had to lead off with this one — this is Harper and Layla. Layla is the daughter of friends who traveled with our group to Canada for a geocaching event. And over the course of the four or so days, Harper and Layla became very good pals. It was fun to watch. There’s a bonus photo at the end of this post of them as well! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Early morning views<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Walking the final morning at the caching event near our Air BnB. So pretty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Final of the summer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My final baseball game of the summer. A nice day for a game and always enjoyable to keep a scorecard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4.<\/strong> Found it!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The last trip to Canada was again for geocaching (for the most part). This was grabbing the oldest cache in Ontario. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Harper and Signal<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harper doesn’t always do well with Signal (the mascot of geocaching) and often tries to steal the glove off the hand. This time, knowing who was in the costume, she seemed to calm hearing his voice and we got this photo! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

BONUS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One more of Harper and Layla. She was carrying the stick and sharing with Harper. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From this point forward, I am going to do the next theme at the bottom of each linkup. Also, the posting date will now be the first of each month, thus giving you the entire month to take the photos etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That means it’s a one-stop shop! Hopefully this helps out with everybody.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
