Am I the only one who is wondering where the summer went?<\/p>\n

Though summers usually go pretty fast, this one seemed to really move along at a high rate of speed. Now don\u2019t get me wrong \u2013 I did a lot of things. But, still, it would be nice for it to go a little slower.<\/p>\n

Anyway, this month\u2019s theme was summer fun. There are oh so many ways this can be interpreted, which makes it a lot of fun. There are so many things you can do in the summer, so that makes it nice.<\/p>\n

So what kind of summer fun did you have?<\/p>\n

I know I had a lot of fun throughout the summer and would definitely like it to continue. I look forward to seeing what kind of summer fun you all had.<\/p>\n

My five are below. And as I mentioned last month, please try and visit and comment on each person\u2019s posts. I know sometimes we get to them late — and that\u2019s fine. But it\u2019s disheartening to visit people\u2019s blogs (I\u2019m usually quite late!) and see only a few of the participants visiting others. Remember, we are a community. Support one another. I know I am a couple of months behind and I have it on my schedule to start back-visiting because I miss seeing what everybody has done! I will catch up\u2026 honest!<\/p>\n

All that being said, it’s time to see what this month has brought us. Here is my five for the month:<\/p>\n

1. Fireworks<\/strong><\/p>\n

The summer is filled with fireworks! It could be the Fourth of July, a town celebration, baseball games, or many other things. I love fireworks and have seen many games this summer where fireworks follow the game. It\u2019s always an awesome end to a night!<\/p>\n

2. Baseball<\/strong><\/p>\n

Summer fun, to me, always includes baseball. I had the chance to see a bunch of new stadiums this year, but crossing Wrigley Field off the bucket list was a good thing!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

3. Fairs<\/strong><\/p>\n

The summer is filled with state and county fairs, and where there\u2019s a fair, there\u2019s fair food! I always like to get fried dough. This one is from the New York State Fair.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

4. Pay attention<\/strong><\/p>\n

This goes hand-in-hand with baseball, of course. Being I\u2019m at games, I always look for interesting photos. I like the look of this and thought, despite it being common sense, was interesting.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

5. Sunflowers<\/strong><\/p>\n

This actually is something that lets me know the end of summer is coming \u2013 when the sunflowers start coming out a lot. I truly love sunflowers, so it always makes me smile when I see them.<\/p>\n

There are my five and I look forward to seeing what others had this month!<\/p>\n
